Sustainable Grass Fed Beef

The rolling Kansas hills are one of the few remaining places on earth where beef can be raised completely on native grass and grass hay.  These hills seem to want of no other purpose than to provide a home to the native grasses, small game, birds and cattle.

Raising beef sustainably, more often than not, means staying out of nature’s way.  We do a few things that our ancestors didn’t have available to them.  We rely on modern genetics to refine our seed stock;  we provide free-choice mineral tailored to the needs of cattle in our area; we vaccinate our cattle for common cattle diseases. But on a day to day basis, Rhino’s Black Angus™ are raised the way our ancestors raised cattle.
